Apparently Zack Snyder, Steven Spielberg and Quentin Tarantino have all said no to directing the new Star Wars film. www.comingsoon.net has the story.
Spileberg says “No! No! It’s not my genre. It’s my best friend George’s genre.” well actually Steven it’s not, he sold his “genre” just the other week.
Tarantino says “I could so care less. Especially if Disney’s going to do it. I’m not interested in the Simon West version of Star Wars.” so Quentin saying you “could care so less” implies you actually care, even if it’s only a little you’re saying you do care and what you meant to say was you couldn’t care less.
Hold on, whats that, no one has actually been offered the role of directing the new Star Wars film? How odd.
Now, while I realize they were asked these questions by interviewers and reporters and should, quite rightly answer honestly, they are still the equivalent of me saying “actually no I have no desire to take Jessica Ennis out” which is presumptuous and silly and outlandish to say the least, I mean as if she’d have a chance with me!
