Joss Whedon’s Much Ado About Nothing

So Joss Whedon can do anything, right? Buffy, Angel, Thor (he directed the post credit sequence) Avengers Assemble and Toy Story have all felt the Whedon effect. Yes, I know he also wrote Alien: Resurrection, but everyone makes mistakes right?

Now he has turned his attention to Shakespeare and Much Ado About Nothing. The IMDb has this synopsis: “A modern retelling of Shakespeare’s classic comedy about two pairs of lovers with different takes on romance and a way with words.”

This has long been a passion project for Whedon. After completing shooting on The Avengers, this film was shot in 12 days at Joss’ home in Santa Monica.

Much Ado About Nothing is due for release on June 14th, and you can see the trailer below.
