First Jurassic World Trailer Goes Online

The first official trailer for Jurassic World has gone online and features Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, some velociraptor action and a dinosaur eating a shark. Sounds good right?

As well as the aforementioned actors, dino’s and money shots, the trailer also shows us the famous gates (albeit with a new sign), the inside of the fully functioning park and the creatures that inhabit it, and also teases a new breed of dinosaur that has been created to spice things up for guests at the park.

While Jurassic World isn’t out until next year, 2015 is already stuffed full of blockbusters and the studio have smartly decided to set their stall out early. The IMDb has the following synopsis for us:

“Twenty-two years after the events of Jurassic Park, Isla Nublar now features a fully functioning dinosaur theme park, Jurassic World, as originally envisioned by John Hammond.”

Jurassic World is directed by Colin Trevorrow, and will be released in the UK on June 12th 2015.

  1. Hm, interesting. Wonder if we’ll see any of the old cast pop up. Jurassic Park is still one of my very favourite films, but the sequels were very disappointing. I’ll very likely go see this one, I just hope it lives up to the name.

  2. The film certainly looks interesting and this whole Sea World/Orlando Resort style of theme park on IslaNublar looks like fun. That being said I wasn’t blown away, I’ll wait for the next trailer to give me more story content and nostalgic fun.

    1. That’s cool. There maybe wasn’t enough there to sway some people, but I personally didn’t really need a trailer to know I would want to see the film 🙂
