Star Wars: The Force Awakens Trailer Finally Debuts

After what seemed like an eternity in coming, the official Star Wars: The Force Awakens trailer has finally made its way online and it doesn’t disappoint.

I know, I know, you’ve already seen the trailer like a million times, and it’s already been analysed and broken down on sites bigger and better than this one. But I’ve been out with my family all day, and hell, it can’t hurt to watch it one more time now can it?

The trailer does exactly what it’s meant to and merely teases what is to come next year. There are money shots galore here with the X-Wing’s looking glorious, there’s a moody shot or two of some Storm Troopers readying for battle (let’s hope Abrams has improved their aim) and there’s a dizzying shot of fan favourite the Millenium Falcon.

It all goes by very quickly, and there are probably blink and you’ll miss them moments, but the sheer fact that there is a Star Wars film coming out in twelve months that will be directed by someone (JJ Abrams) who can actually blend action and story successfully should, hopefully, mean fans are in for a treat.

Star Wars: The Force Awakens is due for release in the UK on December 18th 2015.

  1. YES MAN! You know what the deal is! I’ve seen the trailer 5 or 6 times, probably will watch it some more after this. I think this is the best teaser trailer I’ve seen in years, it gives you so little in time, but gives so much in content if you’re a fan of the source material. After seeing this the first time I was in awe, really was, nothing has made me so giddy in a while and want 2015 now! I want this film in my cinema right now so I can experience this.
