If your eyes and ears haven’t suffered enough at the cinema this summer, then you’ll be pleased to know that Transformers: The Last Knight will be released on DVD and Blu-ray on 30 October.

The fifth instalment of The Transformers franchise has barely left cinemas and yet you already have the chance to own Michael Bay’s last (ahem!) turn directing a live-action Transformers film.

The DVD release is the usual vanilla edition, but will feature a digital download of the film. Meanwhile, the Blu-ray release features lots of bells and whistles to make you feel like your money has been wisely spent.

The Blu-ray comes in a two disc package with eight featurettes to further melt your eyes. As well as this there is a 3D release and 4K release, all on sale on the same day.

If that is not enough Transformers for you, then a five film collection will also be available. Which, at my current calculations would take you about three weeks to sit through in one go.

Transformers: The Last Knight is directed by Michael Bay and stars Mark Wahlberg & Anthony Hopkins.
